Symp1 - McGowan Fellows

Each year, the McGowan Fund co-hosts the McGowan Symposium on Business Leadership
and Ethics, a gathering of prominent business leaders, government officials, members of
the media, and deans and students from top business schools. The event includes keynote
speakers, panel discussions and breakout sessions addressing best practices and current,
relevant challenges in business ethics. Fellows are introduced and participate in thought provoking
discussion on integrating ethics into business practice.

The McGowan Fund sponsors Fellows' travel and accommodations during the year of fellowship
and the subsequent year, as well. Each year, the Symposium is co-hosted by one of the university
partners on a rotating basis.

Through these Symposia, the Fund hopes to inspire and influence Fellows, and broaden and engage
industry and thought leaders committed to socially responsible practices.
