Thomas Arnett
Carnegie Mellon University | Tepper School of Business

Tom is a second-year student at the Tepper School of Business, where he studies in the Technology Leadership Track. He serves on the Academics Committee of the Graduate Business Association and as the Vice President of Education for the Organizational Leadership Club. He spent his summer as an Education Pioneers Fellow, working at the Achievement First charter school network to design and pilot digital learning hybrid classroom models.

Prior to attending Tepper, Tom was a Teach For America corps member and taught middle school math in the Kansas City Missouri School District. His experiences as a teacher inspired him with a passion for education reform and educational technology. His goal is to develop and propagate educational models and learning technologies that will individualize students’ learning experiences and increase access to high-quality education for people from all walks of society.

Tom holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from Brigham Young University, where he was an Edwin S. Hinckley Scholar. Outside of school, Tom enjoys exploring the outdoors, serving in the congregation of his local church, and spending time with his wife and two sons.
